Smoothie Spinball Wheels are made by NFG MFG, the local high performance urethane skateboard wheel manufacturer. The NFG performance urethane chemistry and manufacturing process is the next generation urethane, carefully crafted by Aaron Holm. He is a lifetime skater with a PhD in Chemistry, and has years of experience in skateboard wheel manufacturing. NFG Urethane is natural light yellow color without added pigments. Maintaining the natural urethane color is part of achieving high performance urethane characteristics – resilience, grip, and durability. Wheels may have some bubbles on one side as part of the chemistry and manufacturing process.
Spinball Super Bearings are made by the manufacturer of top brand skateboard bearings. The precision bearings are comparable to premium skateboard bearings with main difference being the size. Super Bearing performance is faster, smoother, and stronger, achieved from the the larger size. They add approximately 3.5 ounces (99grams) of weight to the skateboard setup compared to using standard size bearings. It may take some time to adapt to the heavier setup. Trust me, it is worth trying!
